This is the best part of all.  Once you have yourself connected to a server, and you've confirmed that most things are operational, and that you have some idea of what's going on, you can then proceed to play a multiplayer game!

The best way to find other people who want to play the same game as you is through Kchat.  Kchat functions similarly to IRC, a text-based chat program.  Kchat has macros, channels, file transfers, player lists, ping times, etc...  Best t hing to do is read the docs for Kchat.  Once in Kchat, you can then proceed to find another player, and then you can both launch the game and start the multiplayer setup.

The Games

One of the first games that started the whole schbang with multiplayer games was the original classic, DOOM.  Before DOOM, network play was restricted to mainly strategy type games. Many games nowadays still pale in comparison to this legend.  After DOOM, a whole new push was created toward providing multiplayer support for games.  Since each game has it's own unique type of multiplayer setup and options, it would be impossible to cover all of these games in these web pages.  That's why there's a seperate FAQ, the KaliGame.FAQ.  This document covers almost all of the current favorite IPX network games that are played over KaliTM, and it also includes troubles hooting help and tips.

Below is a partial list of IPX compatible games,
and links to each of their respective home pages:

Of course, this is only a partial list, which will grow, as more games are released.

NOTE:  To play a "network" game over KaliTM, it must use the IPX-compatible network protocol.  Several games use NETBIOS, which is another type of network protocol.  Netbios games will NOT work with KaliTM.
